want to get pregnant

by abbiekitkat, Oct 13, 2007 10:07AM
Hi my husband and i are married for 3 years now. for the past 2 years and half we tried our best as not to have a baby due to financial instability. Now that we think its the right time to get pregnant we tried a couple of times to conceive I end up getting my period the next month. Most of my friends and neighbors told me that I really have to loose weight so I can get pregnant already, is this true?

Some ladies on this site have mentioned that after weight loss, they got pregnant.  If you have a lot of weight to lose, it could be true that it is affecting your chances.  It also makes a more healthy pregnancy.  Good luck!

I have also heard that losing weight can help but also know quite a few people who have had no problems getting pg.  But I would also use Opk's and BBT to make sure that you are ovulating and bedding at the right time.  Good luck!
