It's OK to use soap to wash the outside, i.e., the vaginal lips (pubes).  Not the inside of the vagina, that is self-cleaning.  Don't rub the bar of soap on the pubis, either, just make lather with the bar of soap on your hands, and use your hands.  (Soap can be harsh to that sensitive skin, and rubbing the bar of soap there can cause little bits of soap to get stuck into the hairs, which will irritate the skin a lot.)

The best soap to use is the "summers eve" feminine wash or dove.  Very good for sensitive skin.

I wouldn't suggest it since it may mess your pH level up and then you will have non-stop problems that are a PAIN to get rid of. <--- BELIEVE ME .. personal experience. Use something that is pH balanced .. like Fresh Control Intimate Cleansing Gel. That's what I use and it's amazing - clean and no feminine issues!
