I had sex with my boyfriend and we realized the condom broke and stopped before he ejaculated... I'm supposed to start my period tomorrow or in the next few days so i'm not sure if i should wait and see if it comes or go buy emergency contraception. I was thinking to wait since it is supposed to be effective within 5 days and he didn't ejaculate in me. Plan B i read costs $40-60 sooooo i don't want to go buy it unless i really need it. If I do get my period does that mean i am definitely not prego? even though it was so close to the incident?

Better safe then sorry. If you are due for period soon the you are probably near peak fertility. And while spermicide may have gotten most of his boys all it takes is one swimming up stream and there could be some in his pre-ejaculate. Plan B also works if taken ASAP. So while the chances are slim, there is a chance. Better to make it a zero percent chance than be the %.0001.

Women ovulate about 14 days before their period is due, given that you had sex when your period is only a few days away, I doubt you are pregnant. I'd say you have about a 1% chance...
