what could be the cause for bleeding a lot after sex?

im a woman and recently had sex and when we were done i realized that i was bleeding a lot, it was watery like and not very dark, i wasnt a virgin and i wasnt on my period and it wasnt rough, what could it have been from? should i be worried?

Perhaps you could make an appointment with your family doctor.
Unexplained bleeding , in my opinion, should always be disclosed to
your doctor so you can get a professional medical opinion and so you
can ask the questions you want to ask.  I wish you well.  Eve

It's possible it just irritated something in your. When was the last time you had STD tests and a smear? I'd get both of them to done to rule out infection etc.
