I am 5 wks 3 days pregnant. From about a week before my expected period until now i have had sever lower back cramping, lower abd cramping, but no bleeding. My dr did an u/s last week and determined i had a ruptured corpus luteum cyst. My progesterone level is 32, my hcg levels have doubled, but the cramping persists. Yesterday i had another u/s which showed an empty sac. Is it too early to see a fetus or am i going to have a miscarriage? Help!
It's too early to see a fetus. You will have period-like cramping as a result of the bones in the pelvisCancer - renal pelvis or ureter Nerve supply to the pelvis Pelvic laparoscopy Pelvis x-ray softening and spreading in early pregnancy. This does not mean that all abdominal cramping is nothing to worry about, but a normalNormal saline flush pregnancy has its share of abdominal cramping in the early weeks that is nothing to worry about and should be expected. Good luck!
