what happens when you vomit blood?

i dont know what this is..but my stomach has been hurting lately..im not bulimic or anorexia.but my stomach has been hurtring in the past mornings and nights around 4:30a.m-6:30a.m. and at 10:00p.m.-11:30p.m. and this has been happening for about a week.and just today this morning(2-28-10)i woke up around 4:47a.m. and i went to the restroom and vomited blood and suddently it came out of my nose..i dont know if this is bad?.and i dont think its normal..and i have no idea what it is..please helpp..!!!:/ :...(

I don't know, but my parents are both nurses and have always said that unless I'm vomitting blood, then I'm okay. Blood=go to a doctor. There's all kinds of things that could be wrong.

They could find out. You could have a stomach ulcer or all kinds of other things that need to be treated! Vomitting blood is not good!

You're definitely not supposed to vomit blood. You need to go to the doctor.
