what is this

I have been getting swollen, itchy and sore lumps on the vaginal area where the elastic on my underwear is. I just noticed that some are a dark blue and one has seeped blood. They aren't there all the time and vary in size. Sometimes I'll have one on one side sometimes I'll have more than one on both sides. But it's very uncomfortable. What could this be?

Have you ever had chiggers before?  They itch INTENSELY,  and you would find them in your underwear area or armpits - anywhere clothing is tight and your skin is moist.   They usually live in the woods but can also live in gardens.
