Ok ladies, i don't know what's wrong with me but there definately is.. i believe my problem is a mix between adhd and anxiety issues but whatever it is it's horrible... it's not just recently either when looking back i have been like this all my life, people call me a worrywort because i worry about EVERYTHING Also for example this morning i couldn't find my shoes and i started flipping out and saying stuff like don't do this to me right now, why me?, and i was screaming and cussing. Also sometimes i feel like i actually have anxiety attacks and it always feels like there a 10 billion things going on in my headHead and face reconstruction Head injury Head lice Indications of head injury Radial head injury all at once, I can never relax. thats why i am also hyperHyper-sal and i talk really fast because i feel like i got to get it all out before another thought pops in and i forget. Like i have already had to pause like 4 times writing this because my mind starts to drift off and i forget. the anxiety is effecting my relationship with my boyfriend, because i am always yelling at him because i flip out so easily. anyone else feel like this or might know what my problem is or what i can do to fix it?
I commend you on verbalizing your problems. This is the hardest step to getting the help that you need. A lot of times it is just a chemical out of balance in your brain-serotonin, nor-epinephrine. This can also be a temporary thing.Lexapro, paxil may help. Your dr will let you know which will be best for you. It may take a few to get the right one that works for you, but you appear very bright and I'm sure in a couple months you will be good as new. Best wishes to you.
It is very good that you are recognizing that you have a problem, and that you want to fix it.
I used to be very similiar to you, and I dont like to have to take medicine, so I researched other options, 2 that i found to help TREMENDOUSLY is yoga, which at first will be very hard for you, because you are forcing yourself to go against your own nature, but I promise you- if you stick it out after a few times you will find yourself relaxing, and learning this state of mind will aid you in your daily life. The second thing I learned about was pranic breathing- look it up on the computer you can do it while driving etc. simple things like alternate nostril breathing (sounds funny) but really works.
Today I am such a calm person- i am not on any medicine, and in any 'crisis' my mind is soo clear and focused, you would never think I ever had any problem in the past.
Good luck to you:) you will be OK
I have the exact same thing. I freak about the smallest thing, make mountains out of mole hills, worry too much, talk too much, get panic attacks. I end up not being able to eat infront of people, paranoid they're plotting against me or watching my every move. It's horrible.
I think everyone has alot going on in their mind, sometimes it's easier to deal with than other times. People cope in different ways. Have you ever thought about councelling, meditation or finding a hobby to keep your mind occupied.
I find, doing things I enjoy all in one day helps me out. Sometimes just writing it down can ease the thoughts/stress mentally and physically.
Hope you feel a little more relaxed soon, remember your not alone. You'll be surprised how many people have this.
