why am i itchy ?

Why does my vagina itch sometimes, like around the labia? I mean there is no bumps or anything, it just itches a lot. Can you please help me ?

i don't think it's fungus because it doesn't itch everyday but i am goingto see the doctor just incase (: thanks !

its fungus......because our legs are always closed and dont get much air...its always damp. therefore harboring the unnecessary bacteria and giving them exactly what they want to breed.....ask your doc for a cream called Travogen.

Could be allergies. They type of panties that you wear or even the detergent you use to wash them could be the culprit. Maybe try cotton undies and unscented, dye free detergent and see if it helps.

Another thing I found to be soothing is a bath in cornstarch. Sound weird but it soothes. Maybe even go commando at night while asleep. If it's becoming unbearable, get yourself an appt at your GYN pronto because scratching always makes things worse--especially in such a tender region.
