I sort of have the problem. As far as I know I have always urinated from my vagina. I have never urinated from my urethra and it scares me. I didn't know I was different until recently I figured it out. I'm scared and don't want to tell anyone. I'm only 13.

Please dont take offense in this answer, but i recently went through the same concern to find out i didnt have a clear understanding of where the urethera is located. I thought it ran through the clitoris. It is actually at the top of the vaginal opening. Try putting in a tampon and urinating, if the flow is still free you are fine, if the tampon stops or aborbs the urine make an appt with your gyno.

Hi I am 16 years old and currently having this same issue , I am really worried as I have no idea what to do and I have no one to talk tell or ask for help and I’m so scared to see a doctor , could you please help me or tell me what I should do
Please read above.  Your urethra is placed in such a way that you think you are peeing from your vagina but you are not.  Don't over think it.  Just go to the bathroom and don't worry.  We do not pee from our vagina.
Well some of us with ******* issues do. I’m fed up of people telling me I’m probably wrong because I’m ******* not okay, I know where my urethra is thanks and it does **** all. I pee, from my vagina.
There is a rare medical condition in which a urethra ends and opens inside the bottom of the vagina. If this is your issue, your doctor will certainly be able to tell by looking. Please don't be scared to see a doctor.

I'm only 14 an I've been having this problem for awhile. I actually had problems.s back in 6th grade. The doctors told me I had a urinary retract infection, a d theb later that it went away. I started to notice more recently that my urethra doesn't urinate. Also I was having trouble getting to the bathroom, because I didn't know I needed to until it was urgent. I also get horny when I need to pee. I feel awkward telling my mom. My doctor stinks. I was having troubles with my intestines a d my doctors said anything between pin worms and acid reflux, yet never diagnosed me. It's been worrying me as of lately, so I searched Google a d found this. My mom just told me she'll call the doctors office to schedule an appointment. All the posts here were from years ago, but I'll post this anyway.. And I'll follow up with what I find out.

I have this same problem.I was born with adrenal gland disorder. Don't know what that is ?? Me either until I was 11..... The adrenal glands are small glands located on top of each kidney. They produce hormones that you can't live without, including sex hormones and cortisol. Cortisol helps you respond to stress and has many other important functions. With adrenal gland disorders, your glands make too much or not enough hormones. So I later in life growed a penis weird huh?? I eventually had surgery and it's a normal vagina now expect it's different than other vaginas as I grew up and learned more I then notice that I still wasn't Normal ...I am 17 years old and haven't experience sex yet because even a simple finger in my vagina hole hurts so bad..... am I going to die ?? Can anyone tell me what I am ? And what exactly is the science to these symptoms????

I have this problem too. I've checked down there and my urethra does not pass urine what so ever. It's actually really scaring me, because I know how stupid it sounds!! It doesn't hurt to pee or anything like that- but I've just been in a state of 'ignorance is bliss' if it hasn't really caused any problems for me. It's just weird, and I don't know what to do. Obviously going to the doctors- but I'm 19 and what if they have to do surgery to correct it!?

You should consult with your Doctor and ask to be seen by a Urologist....it could be a small fistula...The best of luck to you <3

This has been happening to me also. But when I go to the restroom it comes out of my urethra and only afterwards maybe sometimes 5 minutes later do I notice that it comes from my vagina. I use a pad because sometimes it's a lot. I'm 18 but i began to notice it at the begging of last year... Is there something I can do ..I don't want to to go the the doctor and be poked but, I'm starting to fear that's the only thing left. I'm also really uncomfortable using a tampon. Thank you so much

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL

Hello,
If you are urinating from the vagina then the possibility of vesicovaginal fistula or ureterovaginal fistula needs to be ruled out. Ureterovaginal fistula is a communication between the distal ureter and the vagina and vesicovaginal fistula is a free communication between the urinary bladder and the vagina. The urine bypasses the bladder and flows into the vagina. Mostly it causes urinary incontinence but if it is small then it can cause little leakage of urine from vagina.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
