How many days on average were you in pain?
How many had no symptoms but found out you had endo?
Was your endo removed?
Did it re-occur?

ENdo is a disease that causes lots of pain and other symptoms. It's hard to describe to someone, so my best advice would be for you to is try this link... http://www.webmd.com/hw/endometriosis/hw103025.asp if any of theses symptoms sound like what you have talk to your dr about it. I suffered for yrs before i found a dr that told me what i had.
I have endo and had surgery on 7-21-06 to remove as much endo as possible. My doctor said it should be easier for me to get pregnant. I was wondering if anyone had any success in getting pregnant. If so how long did it take after you had surgery.
you would still have to check you DR of course to make sure you have endo???!!! the symptoms i have are sorta close, but i'm still hopeful i don't, but isn't normal for women to go through those things when we menstrate??
Hi i have endo, i had the op in july to remove it i went back 3 weeks later for an u/s and was told it was growing back :( My dh and i have been ttcing for over a year. We only found out 6 months ago that i had endo, which was my gynos fault, i have been seeing her about my painful periods and mood swings for a long time. She finally tested me when i told her we had been ttc for a year at the time we had only been ttc for 9 months. So anyway it came back that it was almost certainly endo, so she sent me to a fertility specialist. I got the surgery, he told me on a scale of 1 to 5. 5 being the highest i was a 5, the endo has also destroyed one of my tubes so we started on fertility drugs i had to inject myself for 5 days then i got an iui done. Unfortunetly it didn't work:( So when i went back last week the endo had progressed even further. I am now going to be doing ivf, i have to go on b/c for 3 weeks so the endo doesn't grow any further. Then onto the drugs for ivf. So the procedure drugs and all take about 5 or 6 weeks. Good luck to us all!!
I never knew I had endo until a cyst ruptured. I had a lap 3 weeks later and they found endo. I am ttc now and am in my 2nd cycle trying. Only symptoms were minor cramps. Now my last period after lap and coming off BC I needed motin 800 and darocet.
GL! Hope you do not have it.
I have endo and am 22 weeks pregnant. ;)
My endo reoccured 2 years after the first surgery which was in 2000 I then had a second surgery in 2002 that cleared it up. I then went on continuous BCP until July 2005 when I decided to get pregnant. It took me 8 months to get pregnant and was on Clomid and had an HSG in the mean time to make sure tubes were open with no scar tissue.
I was in pain the majority of the time with my endo and always hurt with intercourse.
My older sister had endo even worse than me. Had multiple surgeries and has 4 daughters with endo now gone.
I've been experiencing lower abdominal pain for 2 1/2 weeks. It is a severe sharp pain in either my right or left side that lasts only for about 30 seconds, then is gone. This happens 30+ times a day. I have no other symptoms. Could this be endo?
I just had a laparoscopy to remove endo last week. My left ovary was in such bad shape, it had to be removed. I had endo 5 years ago removed. This time it was much worse. I knew something wasn't right because I was in alot of pain. My Dr. said that I shouldn't have any problems getting pregnant. I don't understand what happened to the tube that went to my left ovary? How long it will take for me to recover?
Struggling with same problem. Get a blood test to test hormoan levels!! Chances are that your estrogen dominate. Read the book by Kevin trudeau it changed my life. Contact me via email if you are looking to talk to someone going threw the same thing as you. ***@**** (small m) take care.
I want to know what's wrong with me. I have all the symptoms of endometriosis but nothing has shown up on tests. Before my period and after my period I have had pain in my lower right side in my pelvic area. During my periods I have horrendous cramps that basically leave me debilitated. I will have diarrhea but the pain feels like intense constipation. I will get shooting pains up my anus and vagina when sit down on the toilet and try to "go". I bleed heavily during my whole period and have to wear a tampon and maxi pad to bed. I went to the hospital with what I thought was an appendicitis but nothing showed up on tests and not even the morphine could help my pain (this was a week before my period) they sent me home with some Norco and that didnt help at all. I went to a follow up appointment with my primary physician and she said I needed to see my gyno because it could be endometriosis or PID. I'm almost positive it isn't PID because I don't discharge at all and no other symptoms of an STD so I'm left with endometriosis. My gyno did all the tests and found nothing then had me take my bc pills continuously so I wont get my period but I have done this before on my nuvaring and bled for 2 months and cramped the whole time. It has now been over a week since my gyno visit and I still have a horrible cramping pain in my lower right pelvic area and it was subtle for a few days at first and now today it is intense. I feel like my gyno isnt really listening to me. I may be being over dramatic but I AM WORRIED!!!
