Thank you! We've had a lot of tragedy in our family in the last two years so it's a little hard not to worry. I guess we'll feel better once she has the ultra sound tomorrow.
Make sure she gets a pap test every year to test for cervical cancer too. I blew off spotting and a discharge for months thinking it was pre-menopause, and when I finally went for a pap test, I have high level precancerous cells that need to be treated! I figured I was over 40 and married for 19 years, had pap tests every year, what could go wrong in a year!
The ultrasound is always a good idea, but this is likely perfectly normal and you shouldn't worry.
