worried

just wonderd if anyone could help????? i just recently stop taking the pill after 6 years on pill/ injection felt my body needed a break. it has been about just over a ,month and yet havent started my monthly cycle. is this normal and has anyone hAD THE SAME EXPERINCES?

Oh yeah, it definately happens. Your body is so used to being on BC that now that it's off, it dosnt know what to do with itself. When I got off birth control, (I was only on it for just over a year) My periods were really crazy. They were always late, never normal, and very painful. It took about a year to finally get my body back on track to a normal 28 day cycle and normal bleeding... But the pain never went away.
Some bodies react differently than others. Some people have no problem getting off.
