When you are in the beginning stages of pregnancy you can feel like you have to go to the bathroom a lot. This also happens in the last few months as well. Your body is going through a lot of changes right now and blood volume is increasing, hormones are raging. You will feel tired and want to sleep more. Listen to your body. Get plenty of rest and fluids. Don't worry about whether getting enough fluids will cause a miscarraige though. Unless you are severly dehydrated you and the baby should be fine. Actually the baby will take all it needs to support itself from you, so it's important that you get plenty of rest, nutrition, fluids and vitamins. When you see the doctor he should prescribe neonatal vitamins. Make sure you take these. You wll need the extra iron, etc.
As to how to tell if you have a UTI, it's the same whether you're pregnant or not. You would have a burning sensation and some pain when you try to pee. You will also feel like you have to go all the time, but can't. If you feel like you have a UTI drink cranberry juice but don't take any meds without the doctor's approval. You have to be very careful about taking any otc meds while you're pregnant. Just try and put your feet up and relax right now. You will feel better when you see your doctor. I wish you all the best!
