yeast infection - unable to buy monistat right now

so i'm almost 100% positive i have a yeast infection right now (actually... i think it started about 2 weeks ago). however i'm in china right now and i don't think they sell monistat here. i've only ever used monistat for yeast infections... and i really don't know what they have in china (i don't just wanna use any antifungal... and i've asked for monistat at several pharmacies and they all don't know about it)

should i just wait another week by which time i'll be back in the US and start using monistat then? or is there some generic antifungal i can use? or any home treatments?

also... is leaving yeast infection untreated for some time going to make it more severe? i'm seeing my boyfriend 4 days after i get back to the US and i would really like it to be cleared up by then. but since i usually use monistat 7, i'm not sure if monistat 3 or the one day treatment would work.

anyways, thanks in advance!!!!!

i've never tried it myself but i heard you can stick a glove of garlic in your vagina at night before bed, take it out in the morning..do this for a few days and it should help. I know a couple women who have tried it....it may make you stink like garlic though. i've done the yogurt on a tampon thing..it works too. make sure its plain sugar with no added sugar and live cultures...keep it in for about an hr or 2 and repeat as much as needed...taking a probiotic may help too

try and get some sugar-free natural bio-yogurt. it contains the bacteria that your vagina is missing to help deal with the yeast :)

simple and cheap!
