I would recommend using it at night because it tends to get a little messy.

It can get quite messy if you are moving around.  If you plan to lay around all day, go for it.  Otherwise, it won't work as well since it will leek out.

Diflucan - is a pill - but you can't get it over the counter.  Must have perscription.  1 pill doasge & the infection should be gone within 3 days.

They make a one dose daytime treatment over the counter, but I have been told that the good ol 7 day night time treatment is the best to make sure that it is gone.

I had problems with YI after my first child was born. The creams (7,3, & 1 day) all burned so much my doctor prescribes me diflucan. If you have an GYN call the office, the doc might be willing to call the Rx in for you. My doc does this for his patients.

All the creams will generally do the trick. The Monistat 1 ovule is just a one day thing, it makes a bit of a gooey mess in the end, but if your not sensitive to it it seems to work well. I think Canestan has a one day tablet that isnt so messy. I personally trust Monistat. If M1 is too hard on your body, you can do 3 or 7, its just lower doses over longer periods of time. Also eat lots of yoghurt and bananas.

None of the creams ever seemed to work for me.  They always made them worse.  I always go to the doctor and get Diflucan.  Its the best and its one pill that lasts for seven days so you don't have to worry if you forget to take your pill or not.  The doctor also told me to eat lots of yogurt.
