yeast infection?

This past week I've I had sex with guy who is larger than I've had before. The sex has been sort of rough, now I'm some what swollen down there and it itches very badly. It burns when I go pee or sit down. There is a white creamy like discharge coming out. I just want to make sure its a yeast infection and not blame him for giving me something because we did do it once without a condom too.

I found a great over the counter test this past weekend to test for yeast infections.  It will add to the overall cost of treatment, because obviously you must buy the test first and then follow up with a possible yeast infection med., but it's worth it for the piece of mind!  It's made by Vagisil I believe, it was with the yeast infection meds and was a test kit.  It was super easy to use and gave immediate results.  Try that to ease your mind and if it's a yeast infection, you can treat it properly and not worry so much that it could be a STD.

Just curious my friend says that if it is a yeast infection to drink a lot of cranberry juice and it will go away in a couple of daze with no doctor visit.
Is that correct?

Usually cranberry juice is used to help with a bladder infection or UTI.

Vagasil screening kit is what elees is talking about.

Ok, I've just never had anything like this happen with me before, actually how soon after do the symtoms show up for a yeast infection?

I have never had a yeast infection so I don't really know how soon after having sex symptoms would appear. I also don't know that you can get a yeast infection from sex...maybe if he had sex with another girl that had one, I'm not sure though.

I think that including the guys size and the fact that the sex was rough was relevant because those two factors could be contributing to the fact that you are sore and swollen. Although, with your other symptoms it does seem to be more than just being sore.
I don't think it was offensive and I don't think you should have been reported for it.
Not cause any commotion but it seems like atv_girl is more jealous of your guys size than offended by the comment since she thinks you are bragging.

I got the Vagisil screening kit and my ph is 4.5 so the instructions state that may indicate a bacterial infection. But then it goes on saying that see your doctor on first time sufferers. I've went ahead and got Monistat 1 cause with the symptoms I'm having I have an yeast infection. I did all this yesturday well did the treatment last night around 6 o'clock.
Should I be seeing a difference by now?

If it's really a bacterial infection and not a yeast infection, then the meds won't cure the infection. Give the meds that u used a couple days to work. Usually you won't see complete relief the night after using the meds. If your symptoms persist, you're gonna have to get a prescription from the doc to get rid of the infection. Because of the holidays coming up next week, maybe you should call today to get an appt just in case. I'd hate for you to be suffering all weekend with this and end up having to go to the ER and pay way too much money.

Did you guys use a condom when you had sex? If not, then his ejaculate could be contributing to your symptoms as this can change the pH levels when it mixes with your natural vaginal discharge.

Yes the second time we did not use a condom but he didn't ejaculate inside me I know that for sure. My symptoms of the itching and burning are somewhat better I guess but the discharge has gotten worse and is very smelly today which has got me worried.
It's looking like it's definitely going to ruin my weekend.

The increase in the discharge is most likely the meds. Most but not all of it gets absorbed into the walls of the vagina when you inserted the ovule. The smell might also be from the meds too. But, if the smell is sorta fishy then it's definitely a bacterial infection which will require a prescription.

Also, it might possibly be an STD like chlamydia or gonorrhea since you had unprotected sex. Google those two STDs and read the symptoms.

the itching and burning could be related to irritation..I  had a relation with a very endowed man that was short lived and he was too much for me ,,,physical symptoms like yours  

Monostat duram has a vaginal supository that is a one day dose works to cure in 24 hours( this is yeast infection med)
