Labiaplasty the new female genital mutilation

I hear and read that more and more women worldwide are consulting plastic surgeons for labia minora reduction operations because they think that they have abnormally large labia.
Of course the plastic surgeons are happy to comply because they make more and more money from what is basically unnecessary proccedures.
I consider most labia operations to be modern female genital mutilation.
Whether the vulva has flappy labia like batwings or look more like a little girl's I consider them all beautiful and sexy and lickable.
These ops should only be done if the labia causes discomfort when wearing tightish clothes or pain during sexual
intercourse.
Men love all types of vulvas irrespective the size of the labia.
See the artist Jamie McCartney's 'The Great Wall of Vagina' exhibition whith which he tries to change females perception of themselves.

It is just the same as having any plastic surgery. It all comes down to self esteem. if you can do something to feel better about a part of your body (any part) that makes you feel self conscious, then why not.
I personally just had vaginoplasty/labiaplasty. Friends I have discussed it with have mostly thought it was a crazy thing to do. But one of these friends had BA and another contemplating  lipo.
I agree that women should try to be happy, but that isn't always as easy as it sounds.

Well, in the states, this surgery is not common.  I agree that women should try to be happy with who they are.
