AM I THE ONLY ONE IN TEXAS?

HI, I am new in this group, yes , I am diagnostic with GM.
I started back in Feb,2013 on my left breast, I still have it but with les inflammation.
In Sep 2013 I started with my right breast, worst and with a lot of pain, my skin is really bad.
I went back to the doctor and he gave me steroids but still there.
I had depression for 3 weeks, and thanks God it went away. I really want to now is this is going to go away or if somebody had the same experience than me. Nobody know why and nobody know how to cure this "rare de condition" I feel better now that I can express this with you guys.
I also found this video about GM on youtube: http://ecancer.org/video/2177/treatment-of-granulomatous-mastitis.php

Thank you

If you need a recommendation for a Brest Specialist in Austin, let me know.  I've visited one there that at least knew right away what was my condition and did all the necessary testing to give me a diagnosis.....she is in NW Austin.

I am amazed to see that video. Thanks for sharing it. I would love to see his research as well. Can't seem to find it in a preliminary look. I am also in Texas, in Austin. Not much knowledge here. Keep the knife away indeed.

Hi there, welcome to the group!  I personally have only had it in one breast for 10 months now.  It's slowly but surely going away.  I have changed my diet and I am taking Curcumin supplements and doing acupuncture.

Thank you for sharing that video!  It was nice to see someone so passionate about our disease and caring that doctors get the message about how to effectively treat us.  I especially appreciated his message at the end "keep the knife away"  meaning don't cut us open cause it will only make it worse. I'm interested in knowing if his treatment option really works, he discusses using antibiotic for a period of time.  Which I think I would rather take antiobiotics over chemotherapy drug (methotrexate) or steroids.

Anyhow,  I wish you the best and I hope you can find some answers to some of your questions here.
