One of our members has started an amazing blog!

It is full of reliable information and references about GM, as well as a chronicle of what it is like to one day be diagnosed with an incredibly rare disease for which no one knows the origin or cure.  What it is like to live with the
pain and stress of GM...I recommend everyone follow Amanda's blog.

Thanks Amanda (CallmeMaddie) for increasing awareness about GM -- this is what it is all about.

Thanks to everyone for your support!! You all and Jo have inspired me to write the blog.  I never thought I would write something for all to read.  I surprisingly have enjoyed every minute of it.

Right now I am reflecting on the hormonal changes I undergo on a monthly basis.  That is intricately tied to us being women.  I am doing my best not to speak about overly sensitive subjects that might make people uncomfortable to read.  Still, I think the women out there who have GM will have more of an idea of how much more pain we can be in when our bodies are "out of whack."

I am thinking of each of you when I write the posts.  For those who have not looked on it yet, you are welcome to message me and I will email you an invitation to receive an email notice each time I publish a new post.

Yesterday, I added a "Medical Terminology" page.  There are way too many medical words that they, and their definitions, end up sounding the same after awhile.  I just started the medical definitions page and am planning to add to it when I can.  I hope that page will help you along the way.

Take care of yourselves.
Amanda :)

That blog is nothing short of spectacular. I am sooo glad you told us all about it. This is the stuff that goes in one ear and out the other when the doctors talk. I especially like her quotes at the beginning of each day. She had one about the diff. between a Warrior and an Ordinary Person. I am definately OP. She, on the other hand is an awesome Warrior for the GM community. I am in awe of the hardships she has already overcome...and of her ability to write in plain english...in such an understandable way...about the inticate details of our system.
