Prednisone vs methotrexate experiences/ success
Hi ladies. My second biopsy came back again as GM so my breast specialist is sending me to a rheumatologist for treatment that has seen a handful of people with this. She said he would try either prednisone or methotrexate. I would appreciate any experiences or opinions on what worked or didnt and side effects. my doc leans toward methotrexate but I figure u ladies would be best to ask....thanks.
I have tried both for my GM (and both didn't work for me). Looking back, if I had a choice, I would've opted for methotrexate - the side effects weren't as severe for me by any means compared to Predisone. Good luck!

I just posted a thread on methotrexate and predisone which has a lot of posts recording expereience with both drugs...hope it helps.
