Update

Hi everyone

It has been awhile since I posted on here.

October will be my 2 year mark of being recovered from GMI. I suffered for 14 months. I have been free of lumps and bumps and pain ever since.

I changed my diet to an anti-inflammatory diet, drank aloe vera. For 20 weeks I was on steroids, which relieved my pain for a few months, but once I was nearly done with my meds there were abscesses, but not as painful.  I exercise now, kickboxing 3 times a week.

I did consider a mastectomy, but my doctor recommended against it and I am glad she did.

It may not seem like it now, but there is hope you will get through this. The average  GMI case lasts 18 months. I researched anti-inflammatory diseases and treatments like mad. Working with my do for with the information I found helped.

Stay strong and positive.

Shan

I reduced the amount of processed foods I eat. I eat more fruits and veggies and leaner protiens. The aloe vera concentrate I was drinking, I had that once a day first thing in the morning. I also drank pomegranate juice once a day.  Both have anti-inflamation benefits

Hello, I'm curious as to what exactly you changed in your diet that might help me and how much aloe Vera you drank on a daily basis?
