Hello,
I have had this disease for more than 5 years now, so unfortunately I don't think there is a magic cure for it. For some people it doesn't last that long. Since I got this disease, there have been times when I was a lot better, even *close* to normal, and then times when I have relapsed and been very ill. The things that have helped me the most are steps I have taken to create healthy lifestyle habits - sleeping a lot, moderate, but not excessive, exercise, reducing stress, and healthy eating. I try to eat a lot of vegetables. I have also had luck with removing certain foods from my diet. After removing gluten, dairy, and corn products from my diet, I have found that they all cause my disease to flare up when I reintroduce them. I have done the Whole 30 Diet several times, and it has helped me to find the foods that I have problems with. I would highly recommend trying it. Unfortunately, if your disease doesn't go away on it's own, this might just be the way your life is now. That is something I have struggled with, but at the same time it has been helpful to be able to accept it and stop waiting for it to change. No matter how long you have this disease, making healthy lifestyle changes will be good for you so my best advice would be to try that.
