About This Group:

It's hard to get off pain pills when you can't get out of bed without them. You need them but they take over your life. How do you do it? Cold turkey? Wean yourself off? Substitute with other pills? Help others if you know the answer. Or any help for that matter.

Pills and Pain

I've been in serious pain for a few years, knee injuries, back injuries, abdominal problems, etc.  I take pain pills.  I've been on them for a long time and I don't take them like I'm supposed to anymore.  The only way to fix that is to go off 100% but I still have pain.  I'm lost.  I don't want to take them but there are days I have to take them for physical pain to function........
