Hcg with another diet

by cmy, Jul 13, 2007 09:28AM
I did hcg with traditional Simeon's protocol and lost 22 lbs in 3 weeks and then no weight loss.

Has anyone used hcg successfully with another diet, meaning not 500 calories per day? Or used hcg with medifast or protein shakes?

Any feedback is appreciated.

Not yet, but started a new diet today. Seems the HCG/500 Cal Simeon diet quit working for me after 25 days, so now I'm starting a new diet but still taking the HCG. I will eat 6 times a day, very small meals - lots of vegetables with some protein.  I'll let you know how it goes.

Part of my problem may have been that the HCG had lost it's potency. The clinic I went to supplied premixed HCG and told me it did not have to be refrigerated.  I found out too late that IT DID need to be refrigerated.  If it isn't, it loses it's potency.  But even after I mixed a new batch myself and kept it refrigerated, after the first 4 days, the diet stalled out again. It's been 3 days since I lost anything and It's time to try something different.  Feel like the HCG keeps me from getting hungry, irritable, and feeling generally miserable so I'll still take it until this batch runs out.

So you mix it yourself. Do you take every day. twice a week or once a week. Do you go in the muscle or fat ( like belly or legs )? How much per injection mg, meq, unit? Does it sting? Can you use an insulin needle or is it too thick?

Please let me know
