Diabetes and your Thyroid

Does Diabetes affect your thyroid?


This discussion is related to I have a lump in my thyroid and I am about to have a thyroid biospy, I'm scared.

WELCOME to our Community!  There is great info in our Health Pages on the FNA biopsy for a thyroid nodule .. a must-read for info before if you are wondering about the procedure, etc.

No . But the common thing on thyroid disease is a switch in isulin within blood.

Usually - because diabetes is an autoimmune issue - the thyroid could also have autoimmune issues too that are being missed..
