Hello, I'm a 21 yr old male, general overall good health, I'm 5'11 and weigh about 165 lbs. For about the past 4 months now I have been having everyday recurring chest pain. It's on the upper left side of my chest, I guess right over my heart. Like in the middle of the middle of my chest and my left breast. I've been to the er numerous times, and diff. doc's and they all said my heart was fine, i had two echo's and on the most recent one, which was 2 months ago, it came back and under tech comments it said i had "moderate tricuspid regurgatation, but everything else looked normal. I'm really tired of dealing with the pain everyday and I would like to know what it is, sometimes when it starts to hurt i can put my hand over my heart and it feels like it is beating harder than usual. and my last ekg was on jan 08, 2007 and it says on the computer read out as follows:
Vent rate. 77 bpm, PR interval 122 ms, QRS duration 106 ms, QT/QTc 366/414 ms, P-R-T axes -19 -22 -5, Normal sinus rhythm within normal abnormal ecg when compared with ecg of 27-oct-2005
Questionable change in QRS axis, ST no longer elevated in Inferior leads, T wave inversion now evident in inferiour leads. ( My question is what could be causing the pain in that area for so long and does that ekg look bad?) I also have been having skipped beat like in my throat, like a contricting feeling/ active pulsing in neck. but they have been going down.
