dormant stds

I had unprotected sex with a new partner last saturday. and yesterday he texted me to tell me he thinks he has something (a burning sensation) i am not haveing any symptoms. he is the only person ive sleped with in almost a year and a half.  i have also had a pap in april and didnt have anything at that time. i just went in to get tested today but wont have the results for a few days. is it possible that ive been carieing something this long and gave it to him?

Yes you can have a STD without symptoms. 1 1/2 years would be long time to carry around a STD without knowing anything but possible. Pap's often don't test for STD's such as gonorrhea and chlymida because the test is unreliable. If you gave him oral sex then he could have NGU which is common because it is bascially just bacteria found in the mouth which causes the infection. Or it could be nothing at all.

Update us on your test results when they come in.
