Please Help: dizzy/electrical in head, dizzy, fatigue, tinnitus, eye discomfort

25 yr old 5'10 female, white, college student, good health
Sx persisting 2+ weeks (& 6 weeks over summer, doc didn't dx; had normal blood panels), not constant, come and go, varying intensity as well:
Dizzy: not constant, dizzy "flashes"/"pulses" (electrical impulse/flash), various parts of face, head, neck, shoulders, chest, & lower than that (flash will go through my head, chest, and then thigh. When in head, it's like a pause in time, room and/or myself is shifted a little, rotating to L or R, forward or back, can happen spontaneously but most common when I look quickly L or R, occ up and down, but is not a constant feature every moment of every day. I had these pulsations over the summer for about 6 weeks. True dizzy/lighthead when stand from squat, etc.
Nausea: stomach discomfort, frequently after food; 6 wks in summer w/ dizzy.
Coordination: I get periods  of the day (usually don't last multiple days consecutively) of decreased dexterity in my hands, e.g. when writing, hard to finely coordinate fingers where I want, writing is sloppier, typing is occ hard too. In many cases it's easier to hold my thumb or finger stiff and moving my palm to influence the location of my finger tip when typing/operating iPhone. Sometimes body feels like I'm moving through water. Been unusually fatigued, even with the Adderall and coffee. I may have mental energy, but not in my body. Frequently fatigued.
Ears: tinnitus, off and on.
Eyes: sore behind them in absence of a headache, can hurt looking around, go outside hurts behind my eyes, focusing at distances & light increase.
Pre-exist: Synthroid: 50mcg/hypothyroidism, 2005; Prozac: 40-60mg/bipolar disorder, 2008; Lamictal: 200mg/BD, 2007; Lorazepam: PRN (max 2mg/BD, 2006; Adderall: 20mg/drowsy from BD meds, 2009. All meds and psych sx stable 6+ mo.

I am ridiculously forgetful...
ADD: Frequently fatigued, feeling uncoordinated, like moving through water or mud, clumsier than usual at times where it is frustrating to try to do things because I can't quite seem to put my body parts where I want them.

Tiffany,

Sorry in advance about this one, it's really long, bad punctuation and grammar, and if you have my symptoms as well, you have periods when your brain isn't firing on all 4 cylinders, ya know? anyway...

I'm so sorry to hear what you're going through. I'm not a doctor by any means, but i've done a hell of a lot of reasearch! so just guessing, but maybe pay a visit to a neurologist and/or rheumatologist. they might possibly test you for fibromyalgia, MS, lyme, lupis, i know there are others in this group, but having a hard time trying to get my brain to work with me right now. i dontknow if there is an actual test for fibro, i know there are 2 primary tests they do for lyme (an ELISA, which has a high chance of a false positive, and a Western blot test which has a smaller chance of a false negative!) the third test is a spinal tap but i'm not positive (no pun intended) about the results on that.
rheumies or infectious disease specialists handle those tests.

I have almost the same exact symptoms. I'm 26, going to be 27 next week...happy birthday :( the worst of this has been going on for almost 3 weeks but my symptoms started in September! I 've been to doc's for swollen lymphs on back of head, they tell me it's an oil buildup (cyst) just under the scalp. i thinkthey feel like i'm a hypocondriac because they tend to blow me off. went to same doctor for some of my fingers swelling up with fluid. they were so big, i thought they would explode! he took an xray and said there was no sign of arthritis and no bony abnormalities. take naproxen. i should also add, like you, i have become clumsy and i can't get my fingers to move where i want them to. i have extreme fatigue, my whole body is in pain, can't move unless i take adderall, but my psych wants to "get me off that poison" so now I have no adderall, i have extremely limited mobility and i've been calling and calling to find a new doctor, but my health plan kind of stinks and as a new patient, i have to wait about 1-1/2 months for a doctor to see me in my area thats covered on my plan. the joint and muscle pain is really getting to me, mostly my stiff neck, shooting pains in my lower back, and intermittent use of my right hand. among all that, my monthly friend has been getting worse every month. last time i was in bed for 5 days straight because of the pain and also vomitting. i have been diagnosed with raynaud's. my fingers change color frequently. i have been tested for lyme. the ELISA test came back negative and so did the western blot. i'm thinking fibromyalgia. i feel like i'm turning 97 instead of 27. i lost my job because of this. i was also a stained glass artist on the side, but without full use of my right hand, i'm nothing. i'm at my wits end and i just don't know what to do. at this point, seriously, i'll go anywhere in the US if anyone knows a specialist that won't laugh in my face. i can't stand doctors tellingme it's nothing, that i'm young and it will pass. i cant accept that. there is a reason all this crap is happening and i just want someone to work with me aggressively at finding out what is wrong so i can get some kind of diagnosis and possibly treatment for this. i live on the northeast coast of the US, in Rhode Island. i finallymade the decision to go to college. i was already accepted, i just had one more appt with admissions, then this hit me.
I feel your pain, literally. I also have the eye pain. they are dry and burn as well.
I was up to 60mg of adderallxr a day. are you supposed to wean off them? some people tell me no, others tell me yes. i went from 60mg to zero in one day. my psych wouldn't write another script for them. that just doesnt sound right to me. my symptoms had started before i was off them, but had gotten worse when i stopped them. i was also on yaz as well! the first timei was on it, i thought it was some kind of miricle drug (i get really bad periods, but recently they've been off the charts) until i started gaining a lot of weight, so i stopped them. then i went on the adderall and started loosing weight (prescribed for ADD). So i decided to try the yaz again but this time, they didn't have any effect on ANYTHING and things only got worse, so i stopped them again. i'll shut up now. i'm just frustrated thinking about all this. wish i could be of more help. sorry :(

I forgot to add that I have also been having involuntary twitches/spasms, primarily in my legs and feet. Frustrating when trying to study :-(

the pain behind your eye is concerning especially since you have light sensitivity.  i had that too along with many other sx's you are experiencing.  I am not dxd but the eye problem turned out to be Uveitis.  You may want to see an eye MD just to make sure this si not what you have too.

I cannot believe how forgetful I am. I am copying all of this into a Word.doc in case I actually go to the doctor.

ADD: Some electric sort of jolts/flash in extremities (like hand or feet) when I bend my head down all the way (e.g. touching chin to chest)

History:

No major disorders in family, some psych d/o, some heart disease (grandparent's siblings), uncle with diabetes II, various cancers, only a short history is known so I don't have much info.

I am sexually active, on Yaz birth control, just had period and not possibly preg, no history of STDs; occasionally smoke when stressed or starting to feel manic (not every day, 0-2 packs/week).

Okay... man I hope that is all...
