That's really comforting payette98! I've been having this problem too and having been freaking out, thinking cysts or cancer. But this makes perfect sense, cause my bowels are terribly off. Not to be blunt...
But please please update if your doctor says your all good after the two weeks!

I recently found a small lump below my belly button to the left. I went to the dr. and he immediately asked me how are my bowels? I have been going to the bathroom regulary however after he mentioned that, I have noticed that when I have a bowel movement my waste has been somewhat "hard" and also "broken up" its like small peices coming out as apose to " a log" or "logs". lol.  I didn't really think about it ever because I've always seemed to be fairly regular and never really constipated. After I told my dr. that, he immediately told me 99% chance that my lump is a blockage in my intestines. He reccommend me add more water to my diet, have 2 glasses of metamucil a day, and take senokot with stool softener. Or if I want a quicker solution, go to the pharmacy and purchase an over the counter "fleet enima". This is a product designed to flush out your intestines. I tried the first "diet change" for the past 2 days and tommorrow I will be trying the "fleet enima" My dr. wants me to have a check up in 2 weeks to see if the size of it has gone down or if it has gone away completely. If it's got nothing to do with any of this, what else could I be dealing with here?
thanks
