Here's to good health for all of you.
I live in San Jose, California (surrounded by foothills, grassy woodlands), which about 30 minutes from Igenex, in Palo Alto.
Here's my story... about 4 months ago starting feeling little shooting pains that were intermitent across my stomach, then some heaviness in legs. One day, I woke up feeling seriously dizzy and went to ER. They found nothing wrong other then I was dehydrated. They put me on IVs and then I was released. Then I started in experienced cold feeling in heal of my feet and burning feeling in heal of left hand. For about a week, I felt a buzzing sensation in my legs as if there was a cell phone on vibration mode below my skin. Then fatigued in legs when I climbed stairs. I started googling my symptoms which brought up MS, Lyme etc. I expressed my concerns to my GP. He did a neuro exam for balance, strength, sensory, etc. I passed them all. He said no need for referral to Neurologist at time, put if symp's persist come back. I came back again and then he sent me to a Neurologist. I passed the even more extensive neuro exam..no balance, strength, sensory problems... also had an MRI which was clear. I am now even more perplexed as my symp's have developed into the following: intermitent soreness in hip joints after evening light walking, stiffness in back and neck which comes and goes... I have never had classic symp's (numbness, imbalance, optic neuritis, extreme fatigue), but I saw a list of Lyme symp's that Mineandyours posted and that's got me wondering. I'm your typical, active Northern Californian.. I mountain bike, hike, waterski, camp etc. So it's very possible I could have been exposed to a bite here in the foothills. I never felt any bite, but I heard the bite can be microscopic. Does any of this sound familiar??
