Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
If there is a history of injury, then it could be nerve compression either at spinal level or at the shoulder level. The possibility of diabetic neuropathy is also there. Nerve conduction study should be done to confirm this. . It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage. Do consult your doctor for a referral to a neurologist.
Hope this helps Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
Could it be diabetic neuropathy? It doesn't only occur in the feet - it can affect hands & arms as well.
If you're concerned about vitamin deficiency, have your B12 and D checked. Is there a reason you're worried about nutrient deficiency?
Since this happened after a fall, have you checked with an orthopedist? I wonder if that pain could be stemming from a nerve injury in your neck or upper back.
