Is it possible to have a false positive for a chlamydia test?

On 10/28/09 I tested negative for chlamydia.  Then on 5/27/10 I tested positive for chlamydia.  I am also 37 weeks pregnant.  My husband and I have been married since July 09' and he swears he has not cheated on me at all!  Is there any other explanation for this to have happened?

This discussion is related to How can I be positive for gonnorea and my husband negative ?.

You posted in the chlamydia forum also. please stick to one of them in your responses. The same people generally answer questions in multiple forums and it helps keep things straight so it doesn't get too confusing.

False positives do happen...have husband tested and you retested if you have not taken medication yet.
