2 year old headache that never goes away and Numb face.

by shortkake911, May 31, 2007 12:00AM
I've had a headache  that started 2yrs ago.  I was sent to the doctors and eventually was given a ct scan and 2 mri's.  When the results can back I was told that i had a pituitary cyst.  They told me that it was normal and my headaches were just migranes.  The migrane medication never worked and i ended back up at the doctors.  Lately my headaches have been getting worse,  i'm losing my memory, i'm suffering from blurred vision  and my face is going numb, and im tired all the time but i cant fall asleep, and my eyelid feel like there melting off my face. Recently i went to the doctors and i was told that I was a hypocondriac and that all theses things happen to everyone.  MY queastion to you is who do i talk to about this if i only have a certain kind of insureance?  I need help.  i cant live like this my whole life

Can you tell your PCP that you would like a second opinion? Usually insurance should cover it. If they don't cover it I would definately change doctors. There is no reason that he cannot get to the bottom of this other than laziness. I would change doctors ASAP. Good luck to you and God Bless.

I have been suffering from daily headaches for 4 years. They keep telling me it's migraines. There is no way it's migraines. I feel like something is really wrong w/me and they don't care. I have had 2 mri's and they come back normal. I have had 2 sinus surgeries and didn't help a bit. So I know what your going through. It is a nightmare. I can't stand it. But igood luck to you and I hope they figure it out. Let me know if they do.
