Blood clot symptoms?

by contentedsammy, Jun 04, 2007 12:00AM
I had an experience the other day it was like a light show of bright yellow lights floating all around me and it finally went away. In the same week I went for a walk and both my hands swelled up and they were hard to the touch, for the last couple of days my hands still swell and feel tingly. I've been getting more headaches and migraines. My eye doctor said he thinks it could of been a blood clot that I passed on the day I seen the lights. Anurysms do run in the family with three confirmed, migraines, heart problems, high blood pressure, high cholesterol.

Is there something else I should be looking into with these symptoms? I had an ultrasound done on my carotid arteries in my neck and they came back clear. I have an MRI comming up soon in June but Im really getting worried with the different symtoms Im getting.

I hope someone answers me because Im really stressed out about all this.
Thank you

I had a stroke which was blamed on a migraine, the MRI should give you the answers, just stay positive watever the outcome, positive thinking and the belief that you will get better is the best advice I would suggest, good luck x
