I would like to know what to expect after a heart cath?

I am a 26 year old female and about three weeks ago i started having rapid heart beats, sweating, chest pain, tingling in arms, shortness of breath, so i went to the hospital like five nights in a row and they kept saying anxiety.. i wore a holter monitor and it was fine.. so when i went to my family doc he sent me into get a heart cath. Thank God everything looked fine other than i pressure on my right side of the heart.. and since then i have been feeling like crap.. i feel like i have a fever my arms are burning..which i dont know if this could be from all of the ivs i have had.. i guess what i would really like to know is it 100 percent nothing is wrong when you get this done? I have continued to have the same symptoms and i feel like i am going crazy.. i have two sons that need me and i just wish i could go back to the way i was a couple months ago.. can some please give me some advice.. it would be truely appreciated.. i am so lost in all this
thanks amy

well i went to the hospital for the ninth time last night.. and my blood pressure was 150/101 and heart beat was 117.. they said once again it was ulcer related.. but i have still not been diagnosed with a ulcer. And when i went to the doctor for a follow up on my heart cath.. he said the pressure in my right side of the heart is pulmunary hypertension.. and wanted to start me on a beta blocker medicine.. unfortunatley my insurance has to have a prior authorization.. they have to know it is medically necessary.. now what i am confused by is why wouldnt the cardiologist tell me after the heart cath i had pulmin. hypertension instead of my family doc? The cardio said it was normal for heavy ppl to have pressure and if you loose weight it will go away.. i am so confused and in the mean time i dont know what to do when these attacks hit me.. i can feel when they are coming.. my face gets hot due to blood pressure raising and then my heart rate goes up.. and of course my arms and face tingle.. I just pray they will find a answer soon..

Well, they have ruled out the heart being the cause which is a good thing. If the holter monitor was fine then that probably rules out anxiety unless they decided on that diagnosis from the results. Now your Doctor needs to explore other avenues.
What is your blood pressure like?
I don't think you have any adverse affects from the angio procedure, any serious ones would have been noticed after the procedure before you was discharged. You may feel the effects of the relaxant medication for a few days, especially if they gave you a lot believing you suffer anxiety.
