my grand baby, brooklyn is 2yrs old. the gastroligist had her take merilax for 3 days, then he did an xray and said he is still full of poop. in them 3 day on merilax shepooped over 20 times. he then said ,keep her on merilax fo week an bring her back. isnt it dangeous to be sooo full of poop at 2yrs old? she only weights 25 pounds.

May I ask you was brooklyn not pooping at all, thats why he gave the merilax ?a week does sound a long time and I would ask him further about dehydration,.What is her diet like , does she eat a good varied diet, fibre/fruit ?Drink plenty of water .
