Head Sweating

I too have excessive head sweating at night.  I can't wear hair rollers because I will wake up in the morning and when I take them out my hair would be drenched.  I don't know what to do.  This has been a problem all of my life but now it is really starting to irratate the heck out of me.  I saw another posting with the same symptoms I have.  Does anybody have any kind of answers for this?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
You seem to be suffering from Hyperhidrosis ((excessive sweating). It may be primary (without known cause and usually starts during childhood or adolescence and persists all life) or secondary (as part of an underlying condition like Hyperthyroidism or similar endocrine diseases and dermatological conditions like eczema, psoriasis).

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Was your thyroid checked any time in the past - hyperthyroidism can cause this.
Do you have sleep apnea?  Some people, after starting on a mask at night, stop with the had sweats.
Some people never find out why they have it.  Another trail you could follow would be to type in nutrient deficiencies that cause head sweating.

Hope this helps!
