My mom is coughing blood, she undergone brochoscopy last june. And what I understand is that some veins in her ring lung is like "exploding" or "releasing" (I dont know the medical term) when she's angry or emotional and when she got stress. There's no meds given he just said that she just have to be calm and no stress.. now she's spitting blood again any idea what is this and how to cure this?

My son who is 12 is having episodes of coughing up blood every 60 days --it started in March of 2012 -- it sometimes starts with sharp pains in his right side (front) -- or sometimes he just coughs up blood -- the coughing up of blood lasts for about 20 mins -- he coughs up about 1/2 of a specimen container of blood -- he says it feels like there is something he needs to cough up -- he coughs -- not too hard - and then spits into a cup and it is blood.  i don't know what to do anymore -- he has been to a children's hospital -- they have run every autoimmune diease and all are negative -- he has had broncs -- gi's - colonoscopies, bladder scopes (for the times he was also peeing blood with the side pain and coughing up of blood -- NOTHING -- so i am sitting here in the hospital right now while they look at me like there is nothing we can do -- no one knows -- so i am asking if anyone knows of anything that causes coughing up of blood every 60 days -- oh -- he has been tested for TB and that too was negative
once the episode is over -- it's like he was never sick or in pain -- last night's episode he coughed up the blood for about 20 min and then went to bed.  i was thinking maybe a pulmanary embolism -- where a blood clot starts in his leg and it takes 60 days to get to the lungs and then he coughs it up -- it that possible -- does anyone know that answer??/
i need help!!!

If there is a lot of blood, not just blood flecked mucous she needs to go to the hosipital.  A doctor is really is the best to tell you what is going on with her.

Take care.
