post gallstone surger pain

I am a 62 year old nurse who graduated Nursing School in1969.  In September of 2010 I had laproscopic surgery to remove my gallbladder.  I had severe Right upper quadrant pain which radiated to my side and back.  My recovery period of 6 weeks wasn't bad, I still had pain but thought it was from surgery as the doc said I had a lot of adhesions.  At the end of two hours in surgery the doc had to call in a second surgeon, it took them four and 1/2 hours to complete the surgery.  I woke up crying in pain and it continues.  I wake up at night crying from the severe pain (they won't give me anything for it), I go to work and sometimes I double over with the pain, I have also had loose stools since the surgery (I don't know what a formed stool looks like anymore).  As recent as last night I had to run to the bathroom because loose stool was running down both legs.  How embarassing!!!!  I have had a repeat Sonogram and a CT Scan and both have come back "normal".  I also have what looks like a bulging hernia at the umbilical however the doc says it's not a hernia and I should buy a belly binder.  I am not on insulted I am outraged that I am this much worse than when I had the gallbladder pain.  I would never encourage anyone to have their gallbladder out.  There must be someone that knows what is wrong with me but I don't know where to turn.  HELP!!!

Thats terrible, I am so sorry you are going through this difficult time...have they done an MRI or colonoscopy??  Why did they have to call a 2nd surgeon in?  Almost sounds like they have done damage to the colon?  I really hope you get answers soon, no one should have to suffer like this.
