The biopsy should certainly indicate malignant or benign but surgical removal is still recommended. As far as waiting; that would be something decided between you and your Dr.s ... from a needle biopsey is it possible to tell if it is cancerous or benign? If so and if it shows as benign can we do without the surgery? If surgery is necessary can we wait a bit before having it as I just got over a serious bout of pneumonia and a very large mass on the lung which had to be dealt with and I am still terribly weak.
Absolutely, this is the standard treatment for Papilloma; please follow the recommendations made by your treating Physicians. Papillomas can be cancerous as well as benign and it is wise to take no chances with these issues. Regards ....
