Urgent bowel help!!

I REALLY need help!!! I’ve been experiencing, for almost 2 years now, inconsistent bowel movements. I don’t go to the bathroom very often, when i do go it’s only ever in the morning, and it’s often just a little ball that plops, or several. Often for me to go at all in the morning i have to drink tea and lots of warm water, in then use an enema. Sometimes i get the urge, but nothing comes out, and just sort of breaks off; and i never feel empty. It’s not constipation because even though i do sometimes feel bloated, i don’t usually, or feel gassy. Sometimes it’s watery, like diarrhea, other times it’s little balls. My iron was very low, so i’v been on iron, and i was feeling constipated on iron, but now that i’m off it, i’m still not feeling better. Also my condition seems to be getting worse because in the beginning i made an effort to eat only fruits and vegetable, and they would really help, but now nothing helps, i drink lots of water, i eat really healthy, nothing that i eat helps; i think it must be something inside cos it’s not what i’m putting in i don’t think. It’s really stressing me out, i’m quiet obsessive about this, cos i’v been put on constipation pills and nothing works, i thought it was lack of iron; but still not better even after iron.
PLEASE HELP!

It could be a sign of something serious but it usually isn't.  I think you need to see a gastroenterologist about this to determine what is wrong and what you need to do to fix it.

Could this be a sign of something serious? I'm worried, and my doctor isn't giving it the attention i think it deserves. Frustrated!

Thanx so much for commenting, i need all the advice i can get right now!

I haven't seen a gastroenterologist, well i generally eat really healthy, i eat lots of vegetables, lots of beans and lentils and things like that really good in fibre, i'm a health fanatic so i'm conscious of that. And i drink lots of water. I just don't get it, one shouldn't have to do anything special to get a minimum of healthy bowel movement surely. I know i'm not exxagerating about this like everyone seems to be thinking. I called my gp he said to go on a laxative called Movicol, but don't laxatives make you go only whn your on them, and you get no bowel movement once you go off the laxative? I need something that'll fix whatever is wrong, not a temporary fix.

Any ideas what could be the matter?

Thanx

Welcome to the gastroenterology community!  Have you seen a gastroenterologist about this?  Have you tried a high fiber diet?  Iron pills are known to be very constipating so if you can try getting more iron in your diet (dark green leafy vegetables are good) that would help.
