Ironically, they also have hinted at wanting me to see a psychiatrist as well, and had put me on Zoloft. I got off the Zoloft 2 - 3 weeks later as it made me "Zombie like" and all it did was mask the symptoms, not eliminate them, which made it difficult for me to identify what symptoms I was having. I have not gone to a psychiatrist and won't unless they rule out everything else firstFirst progesterone mc10 First progesterone mc5 First-progesterone vgs 200 First-progesterone vgs 400. Meanwhile, I just continue to live with the daily symptoms, and hope I make it to retirement (5 more years). I sure get tired though of the symptoms and feeling that there are no real answers....
Oh ya...I have high BP as well but have had it most of my career since working undercover dope, take meds for it, and it seems to control it.....
I know I didn’t help much but at least you know your not alone…Good luck!
Wow! And I thought it was just me....judging by your moniker, I can only assume you are in/or are ex-L.E. as well. Last October, I collapsed at work with text book symptoms of a TIA. Spent a week in the hospital with more tests than I can count. At the conclusion, the EEG, CAT Scan and MRI were negative. As such, the doctors were mixed on what actually happened, though all agreed the physical symptoms were there. When at some point I was interviewed about my current and past work history, they too immediately concluded that it was Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, resulting in reoccurring panic attacks (which are how they explained the continuing symptoms). I continue to have daily residual effects since the original incident. Parts of my face go numb, have "starburst" or cluster type headaches I never had before, blurred vision, nerve spasm's throughout my body, a constant ringing in my ears that never goes away, chest pains that often feel like the on-set of a heart attack, a lack of energy and often feel nauseated (though I never vomit). Since finding out that I was involved in several OIS's early on in my career and was nearly killed once, the doctors are convinced it is Post Trauma Stress and have given up on looking for other causes. What puzzles me is that most of the incidents occurred 15 - 20 years ago, and there have been no recent trigger incidents or conscious thoughts of past incidents, that would support their theory. Because of no clear finding, W/C was denied (am not trying to retire, just trying to get future medical covered in case I have another big attack like last Octobers)
