half-moon shadow after cataracts removed

Got a ZCB00 IOL after cataracts removed from my left eye two weeks ago.
See half-moon shadow (edge of the lens?). Shadow moves forward (grows) when focusing on close objects like for reading. Vision is wavy around that shadow so feel little spasms in that corner of the eye where the shadow is. I am getting used to them but was real bad at the beginning. When pupils were dilated I could see perfectly so my MD says the lens is perfectly centered.
If the lens is not centered I read it has to be fixed within three months. My next follow up is in two months.
Would shadow go away with time like my MD says? Should I get a second opinion, with OPD map, slit lamp, etc.?

I have it in both eyes after surgery and one of the doctors said they never heard of it the other said he did but did not know the cause but was sure it would go away, it is not going away

This is negative dysphotopsia if this shadow is on the temporal side.  This is better with a dilated pupil and worse with a constricted pupil.  Treatments include IOL exchange, piggyback IOL, reverse optic capture (this can not be done with your IOL--it is a one piece) and yag to the anterior capsule.
