blood clot?

i have been feeling these weird headaces that last about five-ten seconds. They begin in the lower part of my head and end around the top in the left and right side.. i used the patch for six months only.. could the headaces be blood clots on my brain because of using the patch as birth control??? And could it kill me or could it be cured????? im really scared!!!!

Just my opinion but, you might want to be asking the doctor who prescribed you the patch these questions. He/she would be in a better position to provide an answer.

The first thing to remember is that the chances are nothing seriously is wrong. There is the remote possibility that something very bad is going on. But odds are in your favor. The first thing you do is to go to the FDA governmental site (search through google) and search "adverse drug reaction forms". They will give you a form to download and you will note the medication you took and the side effects you are having. Submit this form immediately, registered mail, return receipt requested. Then go to the original physician who made the prescription and tell him you submitted the form and ask him for advice. Note the sequence. File the form first, then consult the physician. There are many reasons why physicians do not report adverse reactions to the FDA which are beyond the scope of this forum. Your symptoms are a "little yellow flag". You need a professional evaluation by a competent neurologist, preferably one affiliated with a teaching hospital. ASAP. That means "As soon as possible".
