You might want to have your doctor do blood work and an ultrasoud to make sure you don't have Polycystic Ovaries. I have them, and what you described sounds exactly like what happens to me. There are some other symptoms too. If you do a web search for PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) you can find a list of them.
