Lucopenia (sp?) and Open Forum!!

I posted below on an open forum and didn't receive any replies. I thought my question just might of been overlooked so i posted again in a new thread. On my dd first b-day she fell sick. Her initial diagnosis was lukemia due to her low blood count. After 2 months of being back and forth with our local hospital and children's hospital The doctor changed her diagnosis to Lucopenia (sp?). I was curious if anyone else has had any experiences with this condition. After she had gone through all this DH's sister told me her son wen't through the same thing before i knew them. I was curiou if this is genetic and reoccuring or just a fluke that it would happen to cousins.

I'm not finding anything that is saying this is genetic. But naturally, you can't rule that out until your doctor confirms it. Leukopenia is an abnormal lowering of the white blood cell count which can be brought about in many different ways. I would definitely get back with your doctor to discuss these varies ways as well as the various treatment options. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
