What is ya'lls opinion on the whole thing?? I have less than 5 months left. I'm LOVING being pregnant this time by the way :)!!! and have never given the possibility of a naturalNatural tearsbirthBirth control and family planning, vaginally a thought... Should I be?
She never said "no" but said it was REALLY tight in there. So that's why I never even thought about it. I just want to make sure I am comfortable with my decision? right now I think if I went into labor early (36+ weeks) I'd be so excited and want to try it naturally.. but if that's dangerous then I need to be strong and allow them to stop my contractionsFetal heart and uterine contraction monitor Fetal heart monitoring Tension headache. C-sections are just NOT how God meant for this to happen and I feel like I'm cheating the babyBabies and heat rashes Baby feeding patterns of it's birthBirth control and family planning. So I don't want to be selfish and say " c" it is without thinking and knowing the options :)
I'm planning to talk to her monday but i wanted to see what everyone else had done in this situation.
Nanakay is right-you may not have a choice. Well, truthfully, it's YOUR body and YOUR choice. But for us there was no other option. The Dr. gave me the statistics on risks for ME to have a VBAC and the risks were far too high for my DH or I to even consider it.
I'm in favor of VBACs, and am saddened by the current hysteria and climate prevailant in OB today. Someday soon there will be no choice. In many places there ALREADY is no choice, and women risk it on their own at home.
I feel sorry for people who are so MISLED by the dr's and caretakers as far as having naturalNatural tears childbirth after c section.. The dr's don't know SHI$^%$T!!!!
some doctors would think that is just to much risk to baby.

Thanks
Now I am glad we made that decision. My son was 7 lbs 14.8 oz and presenting face first. My pelvis is too small to safely deliver such a big baby.
I do empathize with you. I also felt kind of cheated the first time around, and would like to experience vaginal childbirth. I'm willing to bet though that there are lots of ladies willing to be in your shoes!:)
Best of luck
That being said, if your pelvis is small, you will likely be watched for progress very carefully during labor and pushing. They will not allow things to drag on, nor will you be allowed to push for a long time. No assisted deliveries (such as vacuum or forceps) are encouraged for VBACs. Some doctors will not even use Pitocin during labor with VBACs.
If you labor fairly quickly and the baby comes down easily with pushing, the risk of uterine rupture during delivery is extremely low.

My thoughts on your question......I have many friends who feel "cheated" from having a c-section. However, don't be fooled about the 2nd baby being early, short, & sweet. (I know you weren't implying that you really believe they are all like that.) The real joy here is that you will have a new baby soon, whether it comes out your wa-zoo, an incision in your tummy, or is dropped from a stork. So check with your dr. about your options and go from there. It's all about what you are comfortable with. Just for the record....vaginal birth isn't all honkey-dorey. My 2nd came so quick there was no time for an epidural and that took away the blissful joy of the birthing process as well. She was early and labor was short (37 minutes), but no walk in the park. I was so shaken after delivery that I couldn't even hold her right away. Either way, you will soon have a beautiful, healthy, amazing baby. YIPPEE!!!!!!1

Please go to the businessofebeingborn.com..
it's so informative and it sheds light on the insane money maker C SECTION.. Your pelvis is not too small and the cords don't have anything to do with your baby expiring at birth.. Most babies have the cords everywhere and most of the time they are wrapped around thier neck.. Never let anyone tell you that you CANNOT have natural childbirth.. it's all about MONEY!!!!
