I don't quite understand.  How can a egg get fertilized if it is still in the ovary?  If she is pregnant, at some point the fertilized eggs will have to be transferred to her uterus if her tubes are tied.  I am still confused who the eggs got fertilized in the ovary...

If she is really pregnant after a tubal ligation and the pregnancy(s) are outside the uterus, there is nothing that can be done so far as transferring them to her uterus (that I know of).

These would be considered ectopic pregnancies.  They must be dealt with before they grow to a point of rupturing something.

Then she will need to find out why her tubal didn't work, and have it redone.

What I don't understand is why isn't something being done about this immediately?  Ectopic pregnancies can be deadly.

I too had my tubes tied and 9 years later had an ectopic pregnancy (in the tube.)  The tube ruptured and I had emergency surgery.  Unfortunately there is no way of saving the pregnancy.  I've read where they would like to be able to transplant the pregnancy into the uterus but have yet to figure out how to do so.

Best wishes.
