hCG levels have dropped worried!

hey im about 5 to 6 weeks pregnant, im worried cause my hCG levels have dropped from 547 to 317.
they told me i was having a misscarge, im not bleeding and i had alittle pain from lifting stuff.
im scared that im having a misscarge, i have a one year old son. can anyone help i wanna know if this has happened to anyone else and if it was a misscarge or did you have a healthy baby?
PLEASE HELP!

I was bleeding from 6-10 weeks and cramps and my levels went down but I got put on bed rest and I am now 17 weeks 3 days

thanks heaps, i em getting blood test every two days, and havnt had bleeding since bout 4days ago but she said it was normal cause the same thing happened with my son. and my mums levels dropped and went back up all the time so the doctors having a bit of trouble due to that happening to almost everyone in my familie. ill let you all know what they say monday thanks so much!

Around 10-14 weeks (sometimes as early as 9) your levels will reach their peak and slowly dwindle. This is normal--however you're too early for this to occur. Typically yes, dropping levels will indicate a miscarriage. It can also mean other things, such as vanishing twin. You need continued blood work to see what is going on.

Anytime my numbers have dropped, I have had a miscarriage :( I'm sorry to say but, you can bleed in a pregnancy and everything be fine. But, its usually not a good sign when the hCG levels drop. I'm so sorry and hope its not the case for you.
